As John enters the second half century of his career in luthiery, he finds himself reflecting on the lessons learned from the past 50+ years and what lies in store for him in the future. Having built over 1700 instruments John knows what looks good, sounds good and how it should feel when played. With this deep knowledge and understanding honed over decades of experience, John can envision what an instrument would be if he were to build it for himself. This is the idea behind the Custom Legacy Series- to offer an instrument that John would build and pass down to his family for generations.
